I may be biased, but I think Pittsburgh, PA is one of the best places for a destination wedding! We have several beautiful beaches, glistening water, sunny days, grand city vistas, ample lodging, great restaurants, wonderful cultural performances, excellent museums, the best medical facilities along with a hoppin’ night scene with deep historic ties. Maria and Amin met in college here and decided that the Sheraton Station Square was going to be the place to have everything. Their guests could stay at the hotel, witness their marriage in the courtyard with city-line views, celebrate at the reception and then take the elevator up to their rooms. Everyone would have enough energy to take in the cultural experiences of this former steel town that is gracefully dancing through a renaissance. You got to admit, if your from this area you a very proud to call this place “home”. And you probably questioned the “beautiful beaches” comment! However, you have to admit that we have miles and miles of coastline! Hope you enjoy their photos! Check out my newly revised website. And please, I recommend you even “LIKE” some photos on facebook! OMG & No Way!

March 1st Wedding, Marci and James

March 1st was a nice day for a white wedding and this couple rocked it! Since wedding season is in full-swing, I wanted to introduce a little bit of snow back into your summer lovin’s. We photographed Marci and James at Round Hill Park in Elizabeth, PA, before heading over to the Sunset Room for the reception. The hall’s moniker lived up to its standard by providing a grand vista to an awesome sunset.

Kelly and Brendon’s April Wedding
The city of Pittsburgh set the stage for Kelly and Brendon’s April wedding. The couple got married and had their reception at the prestigious Le Mont restaurant on Mt. Washington. One of the most memorable moments occurred during the exchanging of vows as they read what they wrote for each other. I am not one for getting emotional during a ceremony, but this was a different case. Maybe it was the spring season, or the vistas of our romantic city, or the smell of pink roses and glistening candles. What ever it was, Brendon channeled poet, Pablo Neruda and lyricist, Dave Matthews to create a lovely vow that left me wondering, “Dang! I bet my wife wishes that I could be that romantic!” I hope you enjoy! http://www.amcgregorphotography.com
Maria and Nick’s Wedding in Latrobe, PA
August 24th may seem like a long time ago, but honeymoons should last an eternity! That is precisely the feeling I got from Maria and Nick as they celebrated their wedding day. This adorable couple was married in Latrobe, PA, and had their reception at DiSalvo’s Station Restaurant. After the ceremony, we stopped by the cigar bar at the restaurant for some formals and grabbed some more portraits at the Winnie Palmer Nature Reserve. You have to admire Maria and Nick for their impeccable planning as Chris and I were delighted by the romantic locations the couple chose for their formals. In addition to the locations, the wedding party was gorgeous and exited to celebrate the couple’s wedding day. We all had a blast celebrating life!
Chris and I have been collaborating together for over six years, and we thrive off of one another to get beautiful images. Some photographers have a difficult time working together and promoting each other’s talents, but Chris Lane is a truly talented guy that goes above and beyond to please his clients. Christine and Mark’s November Wedding
Some people fear the idea of getting married during the winter months. This was not the case for Christine and Mark. Sure, it may have been a little brisk, but they were bathed by love and the warm sun. Their wedding had it all: gorgeous people, romantic settings, elegant details and even a puppy!
As mentioned in a previous post, 2013 was a very busy year. This is the first post in a series of weddings that we photographed.
