Valentino’s Bouquets

Hey guys! Here’s your Valentine’s reminder to buy the bouquet. Unless… “if you like it, then you shoulda put a ring on it”, as the wise Beyoncé muses. Don’t be like them other jagoffs and grab one after work when you’re buying your milk and chipped ham. Go into a florist, talk to them and walk out with a stunning arrangement. This post is dedicated to all those beautiful details that make each and every wedding unique, special and personalized. As always, thank you for visiting. www.amcgregorphotography.com

Celebration at The Barn at Madison

All day wedding ceremonies & receptions that take place in one location have been trending over the last 10 years. In addition to the venues providing separate locations for the bride and groom to get ready, it also gives me extra time to take formals and portraits! Kimberly and David booked The Madison Mansion for the weekend, which gave them plenty of time to decorate the day before their wedding. Kim designed the floral arrangements and decorated the wedding arbor. The three-story venue utilizes the top floor to house the pre-ceremony preparations, the middle floor for the formal dinner and the bottom floor opens as the dance space for the reception.  They held their ceremony on the luscious, green lawn surrounded by large pines, elegant gardens, a rustic, wooden barn and the mansion itself. It was a sweet, intimate wedding celebrated with their immediate family and friends. As always, thanks for your attention! Aaron McGregor Photography

Senior Portraits at Autumn Ridge Farm

Having picturesque scenery really enhances a portrait in reflecting one’s personality. Many clients request wildflowers or old cars in a rural setting. Lisa hired me to take her family portraits 10 years ago so I was excited that she reached out to me to take her daughter’s senior portraits. For a small fee, Autumn Ridge Farms gives permission to access their working farm. This rural location fulfills the wildflowers and old car wish. The bonus was getting visits from an overly friendly cat and surprise visit from a Highlander calf. Big cheer goes out to Riley for her enthusiasm! I hope you have a great senior year! Wanting more portraits? Aaron McGregor Photography Thanks for your visit!

Hiatus Rejuvinated

My niece, Aley, and her groom Joe embraced each other on October 31, 2022. Yes, that seems like a decade ago but they are still celebrating their honeymoon – as it should be. I haven’t been blasting everyone with promos and blog posts in a while because I didn’t know where I would be after hip surgery. Well let me tell you that modern medicine and prayers are miraculous! They replaced my hip and it has been a life changer. Just wanted to let you know that your genetic DNA should never hold you back from your passion. Let me know if you want a 2024 wedding discount. Wedding on the Lawn

Wedding Celebration on the Lawn

Fast forward from last blog that featured Bekah & Luc’s engagement to their Big Day! Their April wedding became a July wedding that was celebrated in the front yard. It was perfect! The challenges of planning a 2020 wedding created opportunities that featured romantic settings. The bride made her grand entrance from the home during the processional as the groom beamed at her while waiting under a tent. The azure blue skies and sunny breezes were a perfect pairing for this fun-loving couple. I am making many updates to my website so make sure to check it out! Aaron McGregor Photography
