Destination Wedding: Pittsburgh!!!

I may be biased, but I think Pittsburgh, PA is one of the best places for a destination wedding! We have several beautiful beaches, glistening water, sunny days, grand city vistas, ample lodging, great restaurants, wonderful cultural performances, excellent museums, the best medical facilities along with a hoppin’ night scene with deep historic ties. Maria and Amin met in college here and decided that the Sheraton Station Square was going to be the place to have everything. Their guests could stay at the hotel, witness their marriage in the courtyard with city-line views, celebrate at the reception and then take the elevator up to their rooms. Everyone would have enough energy to take in the cultural experiences of this former steel town that is gracefully dancing through a renaissance. You got to admit, if your from this area you a very proud to call this place “home”. And you probably questioned the “beautiful beaches” comment! However, you have to admit that we have miles and miles of coastline! Hope you enjoy their photos! Check out my newly revised website. And please, I recommend you even “LIKE” some photos on facebook! OMG & No Way!

No Bark, No Bite Santa. A Photo Essay of A Boy and his Dog.

Once again, we find ourselves celebrating the winter holidays. To commemorate this festive time, my wife, Heather, and I collaborated on our annual photo session of our two kids: Emmett, our biological child and Ruben, our big, hairy canine. Trying to top last year’s portrait proved to be frustrating to say the least. Emmett was a bit more cooperative last year since he was just transitioning into a toddler. However, his mobility this year coupled with his awareness of Santa Claus created an excitement that is comparable to, well, a child’s recognition of a visit from Santa! The following outtakes were some of the best of three separate photo sessions. Enjoy!

Cool Cash for the Dog Days of Summer!

It is that time of year again for the “Dog Days of Summer” (even though we are experiencing cool weather)! In my efforts to support local animal shelters and non-profit groups, all photography sessions booked in August will result in you getting an original artwork AND I will donate 20% of the proceeds in your honor to your preferred non-profit. To ensure your donation, you only have to book and make a deposit in August! Imagine this scenario: you book your wedding at $1550.00. That results in a $310.00 donation to your favorite non-profit! This generous donation is that easy.

If you’ve already made all the donations you can afford this year and you don’t need any photography, please help by sharing this blog with others. This has the potential to really have an impact!

March 1st Wedding, Marci and James

AMC_6577

March 1st was a nice day for a white wedding and this couple rocked it! Since wedding season is in full-swing, I wanted to introduce a little bit of snow back into your summer lovin’s. We photographed Marci and James at Round Hill Park in Elizabeth, PA, before heading over to the Sunset Room for the reception. The hall’s moniker lived up to its standard by providing a grand vista to an awesome sunset.

Commercial Session in North Huntingdon

AMC_9740

If you were to lose one sense, what would it be? I think I could probably do without my sense of smell, maybe. However, I would arm wrestle a chainsaw to keep my vision. My latest ventures took me to the eye doctor’s office in North Huntingdon, PA. There are two doctors working out of this office. Dr. Messner is the Optometrist and Dr. Missry is the Ophthalmologist. They invited me in to photograph their state of the art facilities and capture portraits of their team. I shadowed a patient and was even present when Dr. Missry gave her an eye exam. She was thrilled by the vast selection of hip glasses that were available to her. I highly recommend their professionalism and their services!

If your company needs to update your directories or needs dynamic images for your annual report, please contact me. I have the resources to travel to your location and take your team’s individual portraits, group portraits and meet any special requests you may have including coverage of product launches/expansions, company picnics, and other special events. Upon hiring me, you should expect to receive all the perks of a professional Pittsburgh photographer at a reasonable, community-friendly price.
