What you say? Two BIG DAYS!

Best Wishes to Valerie and Corey. These two amazing musicians are professionals in the genre of bluegrass: Bluegrass/CopperWatchMusic. Valerie’s mom bought the highest bid for my photo services that I donated toward a local, non-profit, environmental organization (Jacob’s Creek Watershed Association). I was thrilled that she loved my work but was shocked when I heard of her daughter’s wedding date: OCT. 7th!!! Unfortunately, I was already booked! Fortunately, my business partner, Chris Lane was able to capture and edit their wedding! Corey and Valerie told me how pleased they were with Chris’ professionalism and creativity. They also expressed how happy they were to discover us in the last month before their wedding. I can only express how fortunate I am to be connected to such a wonderful network of clients, great photographers and non-profits. Donate & hire locally to support your community. Should you hire either me or Chris, you should expect a ton of beautiful images from your Big Day Memories. Hope you enjoy Valerie & Corey’s entire wedding day on my website: Aaron McGregor Photography

Kathryn & Mike Haney 10-7-17

Kathryn’s Mom contacted me earlier this year to capture her daughter’s Big Day. Her daughter, Kathryn, lives in Red Lion, PA and didn’t know a photographer in the Greensburg – Irwin area. Fortunately, her Mom had hear of me through some friends. Congratulations to Kathryn and Mike. Lindsey and I had such an amazing time celebrating your Big Day with you! I hope you and your wedding guests enjoy your special day all over again! In addition, let them know that they can order reprints for themselves and for Christmas! Mike & Kathy Happy Holidays & Merry Christmas!

Senior Portrait in My Studio!

Just in time for the peak of senior portrait season, I was thrilled that Elizabeth booked her photo session in my studio. She is a senior, lacrosse player at Yough High School. Her mom loved the barn door I custom built using reclaimed wood from a barn in North Huntingdon. This also serves as a dual purpose, ventilated area that houses our hot water tank and HVAC unit. I am so geeked about the studio, and my yard is brimming with scenic vistas as well. By the way, I added a cute little pink chair as a prop and Elizabeth didn’t want to use it but her mom did. Can you spot it in these photos?!?! Call me and we’ll collaborate! www.amcgregorphotography.com

Maternity Photos at Twin Lakes Park

A couple weeks ago, I wrote about Abby & Joshua’s wedding. Abby contacted me again to capture another moment of their celebration with their twin boys! She wanted wildflowers and forests. I scoped out a few spots and texted her pics of the location. She loved the environment and we met there a few hours later. I have captured senior and other maternity portraits at Twin Lakes Park throughout the four season and each location is so diverse in ecology. For more, please visit my website at Aaron McGregor Photography! OMG!!! It is finally smartphone and tablet friendly!!!

No Bark, No Bite Santa. A Photo Essay of A Boy and his Dog.

Once again, we find ourselves celebrating the winter holidays. To commemorate this festive time, my wife, Heather, and I collaborated on our annual photo session of our two kids: Emmett, our biological child and Ruben, our big, hairy canine. Trying to top last year’s portrait proved to be frustrating to say the least. Emmett was a bit more cooperative last year since he was just transitioning into a toddler. However, his mobility this year coupled with his awareness of Santa Claus created an excitement that is comparable to, well, a child’s recognition of a visit from Santa! The following outtakes were some of the best of three separate photo sessions. Enjoy!
