March 1st was a nice day for a white wedding and this couple rocked it! Since wedding season is in full-swing, I wanted to introduce a little bit of snow back into your summer lovin’s. We photographed Marci and James at Round Hill Park in Elizabeth, PA, before heading over to the Sunset Room for the reception. The hall’s moniker lived up to its standard by providing a grand vista to an awesome sunset.

The city of Pittsburgh set the stage for Kelly and Brendon’s April wedding. The couple got married and had their reception at the prestigious Le Mont restaurant on Mt. Washington. One of the most memorable moments occurred during the exchanging of vows as they read what they wrote for each other. I am not one for getting emotional during a ceremony, but this was a different case. Maybe it was the spring season, or the vistas of our romantic city, or the smell of pink roses and glistening candles. What ever it was, Brendon channeled poet, Pablo Neruda and lyricist, Dave Matthews to create a lovely vow that left me wondering, “Dang! As we anticipate the arrival of Spring to finally set upon us, I hope you can feel the warmth of Hanna and David’s wedding that took place last May. We were fortunate to capture a few memories from the vistas of Mt. Washington in between the ceremony and reception. We are also looking forward to the best man’s wedding this August, but you may have to wait a year before you get to see that beautiful wedding! Free-spirited and avid snowboarders, Chelsea and Nathan jumped into marital bliss at Hidden Valley Resort. This tranquil skiing mecca is nestled in the Laurel Highlands and is the perfect setting for a weekend get-away and wedding. This May afternoon embraced the couple in glistening sun and sweeping gentle breezes. It was so idyllic that even the dragonflies were meditative.

One of my favorite images from this wedding occurred after the ceremony when Grandma was giving John advice. She has her index finger extended as she counts the number of ways to make Raechelle happy. As a photographer, I feel that the camera should be perpetually glued to my eye.
