A Wedding Among the Trees

When a couple plan their wedding, they create a microcosm of their existence and relationship together. Cory and Kevin celebrated their nuptials in Linn State Park in the scenic Laurel Highlands, Ligonier, PA. Being Cory’s friend, I was amazed but not surprised by her carefree attitude and adventuresome spirit as she hiked the trails in her gown BEFORE the ceremony! I regard the photo of her with her flower girls as one of my best images to date! I wish them the Best of Wishes! Congratulations Cory & Kevin Bowen! #browenwedding www.amcgregorphotography.com

Photo Marketing Tips

“Wowzers!” you say. “I am getting clients from all over the place!” Sure I get some local bookings from recommendations on Facebook, or from word of mouth, but most people find me on Google. Hello!?! How many of you are surprised at a good ol’ Googling? I get contacted from people living in California, Minnesota, NYC & even Europe who need a photographer in the Pittsburgh area. I ask them, “How did you hear about me?” – Are you sitting? Their response, “I searched Google!” At this I click my ruby slippers and say, “There’s no place like homepage!” I applaud Search Engine Optimizations on my webhost, PhotoShelter. I do not advertise on the web nor feel the need to do so. I enjoy the benefits of pleasing clients and having them recommend me to their friends & family. By adhering to this marketing plan, I can keep prices within your budget! Best wishes and congratulations to Caitlin & Matt on their wedding in Pittsburgh, PA. Did I mention that having a blog on WordPress has it’s benefits too! I hope you enjoy these images of this gorgeous couple. amcgregorphotography.com

A Pittsburgh Wedding with a Wedding Contest for You!

When we arrived at the bride’s home, we were greeted by a Labrador Retriever and a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. At that point, I knew it was going to be a GREAT day! Lauren and Brandon celebrated their day and had their “first look” under electric blue skies. Among the rest of the highlights, you will discover elegant invitations, an awesome cake topper and a celebrity appearance! Since I had a wonderful time with the last contest, I decided to run another one that favors all those romantic couples among us! “Name the Make of that Convertible” to be entered into a drawing to win $150 off your wedding photography package. It is peak time for booking 2016 weddings. So if you are related to or know of anyone or if you are getting married, it would be just crazy not to take a guess. Check out what is offered in my wedding packages at this link http://www.amcgregorphotography.com/prices

The Atrium Wedding

Azure skies and sun kissed bouquets embraced Christina and Mike on their wedding day. Christina and her girls got ready at the church while the guys showed up all decked out in their tuxes. I was told a few years ago that Pittsburgh based transportation company, Molly’s Trolleys was out of business. So I was thrilled to see their trolley pull into the church parking lot. After the ceremony, we were able to grab some formal portraits in the gardens of The Atrium in Prospect, PA. After the formals, we were all treated to a wonderful and romantic evening. I typically don’t post this many images to this blog but hope you enjoy these images that Melissa and I captured regardless of quantity. Cheers! Aaron McGregor Photography
