Props are Tops

Why yes, Norwin has a Trap team! Kayla’s mom hit me up to capture her senior portraits and I didn’t realize Norwin offered the Olympic sport. Apparently, several schools offer Trap. Kayla brought her shotgun to the photo session. I’ve captured student musicians with their instruments and pet lovers with their dogs. The prop was something exciting and different. I always think of ways to use props to elevate the energy level and relate them to the person. Thanks for looking & hope you enjoy! Aaron McGregor Photography

Senior Portraits at Autumn Ridge Farm

Having picturesque scenery really enhances a portrait in reflecting one’s personality. Many clients request wildflowers or old cars in a rural setting. Lisa hired me to take her family portraits 10 years ago so I was excited that she reached out to me to take her daughter’s senior portraits. For a small fee, Autumn Ridge Farms gives permission to access their working farm. This rural location fulfills the wildflowers and old car wish. The bonus was getting visits from an overly friendly cat and surprise visit from a Highlander calf. Big cheer goes out to Riley for her enthusiasm! I hope you have a great senior year! Senior Portraits

Let’s start by saying that no one is a model unless you’re a model. However, Dillon nailed the “modelness” on location at his camp in the Laurel Highlands. This GeibelSenior is now enrolled in Slippery Rock University and equipped with his intelligence, I am sure he has a very bright future. His parents chose these images for enlargements, canvas prints and even a metal print. They all turned out awesome. Please contact me for your affordable senior portrait session and always check out my website for new photos of amazing people! Amazing Portraits by Aaron McGregor

Senior Portrait in Pittsburgh, PA

Since we were meeting in “dahntahn” Pittsburgh, Hannah’s mom described her as “4 foot 11, long brown-blonde hair and sassy!” May Hannah have a terrific senior year at East Allegheny High School and the best of luck in her future endeavors. I hope you can see her wonderful personality and fun loving attitude in these images – along with some sass! www.amcgregorphotography.com

Hempfield HS Senior Portrait

The other day, I was contacted by a repeat client who wanted me to capture her other son’s senior portraits. Trevin wanted to go to the same location as his brother, Kirklin, did at Twin Lakes Park. That park in Greensburg, PA, has so many awesome backdrops (Abby & Josh’s maternity blog post). I was thrilled at the challenge to capture different backdrops at this location. After talking with him, Trevin is going to embrace his senior year at Hempfield High School. He is looking forward to choosing a university that best suits his interests and career needs. Best of Luck to Trevin and may he have a great senior year! I hope you enjoy these images! amcgergorphotography.com
