Rustic Wedding & Double Booked

Since I was already booked to capture a friend’s Love Story on June 16th, I confided in my business partner, Chris Lane, to attend the marriage of Beatriz and Jason. Beatriz was planning her wedding from Hollywood, Florida and saw my brochure at a bridal show in Rockwood, PA at the Hayloft. Intimate Scottish Wedding

Weddings are so sweet, romantic and exude everything personal for the couple. The wedding day is when their daydreams turn into a reality. I was honored when my long time friend, Susan, hired me to capture her Big Day. She planned this intimate backyard affair with Scottish roots. I aimed to capture their senses of humor and deep love for one another. The hand fasting was celebrated at Bushy Run Battlefield.

Wedding in NHT!

Winter decided to release his cold grip on April 14th and I know he did it for Sarah and Seth! One would think that after capturing so many love stories of Big Days, I would get desensitized to them. But man, I almost cried five times at this one! The way they looked at each other and laughed together was for real. Both are from of very loving & supportive families so to get swept away was easy. Maybe my sentimentality is the result of being involved with the third wedding in this family that Chris and I captured. We feel like we are part of this big family now since Sarah’s cousins, Marie (married Ian) and Katherine (married Curtis) hired us in the past. We are honored and looking forward to capturing Sarah’s sister, Elizabeth who is marrying Ben, in June 2019! But before then, I’m looking forward to dropping by for Thanksgiving and Christmas! Grin! Who said you can’t get married during Pittsburgh’s pothole season? Marie and Ian defied the laws of Winter this year on 2/9/18. They proclaimed their eternal commitment to one another in Swissvale, PA. A quick stop provided some exceptional photo opportunities on the very icy, Hot Metal Street Bridge. You may recognize Marie from a previous wedding. She was the maid of honor to her sister, Katherine, who married Curtis in 2016. Chris and I want to extend our best wishes to you and your family!
