Small Wedding at Greendance Winery

When my friend Stephen made it FB official that he got engaged to Shelley, I was so happy for them! They are so down to Earth and are a perfect match for each other. They only needed me to cover a couple hours of their intimate wedding at Greendance Winery in Mt. Pleasant. They planned everything from out of state and it all came together quite beautifully. The lovely ivory roses paired well with the blue thistle, not only in color but in texture. The soft eucalyptus and delicate flowers of her bouquet were stunning. As two families were united on their wedding day, their ceremony featured a ritual representing this unification. Even though I was only there for a couple hours, I could sense all of the support and love from their immediate family. It was truly a joy and I am honored that they hired me! Check out my new site! Fast forward from last blog that featured Bekah & Luc’s engagement to their Big Day! Their April wedding became a July wedding that was celebrated in the front yard. It was perfect! The challenges of planning a 2020 wedding created opportunities that featured romantic settings. The bride made her grand entrance from the home during the processional as the groom beamed at her while waiting under a tent. Engagement sessions are magical. It is a moment in time that captures the onset of the wedding planning process. Not only does it reflect a spiritual and physical celebration between the couple, it also allows me to meet them under joyous conditions that are not as stressful (sometimes) as the morning of their wedding. Bekah & Luc booked their engagement session at Heinz Hall and afterward we strolled around Pittsburgh. We spent about two hours together getting to know each other while having a blast! Planning a wedding should be a super fun experience, after all, you are creating a Love Story that expresses your personalities. Like the bouquet reflects the bride’s personality, Jessica’s was both fun and colorful. Jessica & Tyler’s summer wedding was filled with sunny skies & friendly vibes. They had a beautiful ceremony in the Immaculate Conception Church in Irwin, PA followed by formal photos at Bushy Run Battlefield. The reception was held at The Crystal Ballroom in Hermine. A Perfect Love Story

2020 may have been a challenging year but nothing can stop a Love Story. Weddings last year were intimate, romantic & typically held outdoors. Many scheduled dates were moved around or venues changed. Molly, Nathan & their little puppy Trigger adjusted their planned big wedding to one that included their immediate family. It turned out to be absolutely perfect. Chris & I know this family really well. We were there to capture Sara & David’s Big Day too (Molly’s sister)!
