The other day, I was contacted by a repeat client who wanted me to capture her other son’s senior portraits. Trevin wanted to go to the same location as his brother, Kirklin, did at Twin Lakes Park. That park in Greensburg, PA, has so many awesome backdrops (Abby & Josh’s maternity blog post). I was thrilled at the challenge to capture different backdrops at this location. After talking with him, Trevin is going to embrace his senior year at Hempfield High School. He is looking forward to choosing a university that best suits his interests and career needs. Just in time for the peak of senior portrait season, I was thrilled that Elizabeth booked her photo session in my studio. She is a senior, lacrosse player at Yough High School. Her mom loved the barn door I custom built using reclaimed wood from a barn in North Huntingdon. This also serves as a dual purpose, ventilated area that houses our hot water tank and HVAC unit. I am so geeked about the studio, and my yard is brimming with scenic vistas as well. By the way, I added a cute little pink chair as a prop and Elizabeth didn’t want to use it but her mom did.
